In an effort to ensure the safe return of Indian citizens, including 53 from West Bengal, who were evacuated from Israel due to the escalating conflict, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced comprehensive support for their journey back home. As part of Operation Ajay, launched by the Indian government, the Ministry of External Affairs recently chartered a plane to bring 212 Indian citizens from Israel to New Delhi.
